Thalia Grace is the daughter of Zeus which allows her to shoot lightning on command. She has a shield that is shaped like Medusa's head which scares away enemies. She almost made it in to Camp Half-Blood with the help of Grover, Annabeth, and Luke before monsters trapped them. Thalia sacrificed herself to save Grover, Annabeth, and Luke. Zeus took pity upon her daughter and turned her into a tree before she died, which protected Camp Half-Blood with magical boundaries that kept out monsters. A few years later, Percy, Grover, Annabeth, and Clarisse brought the Golden Fleece to Camp Half-Blood to save Thalia's tree which had been poisoned by Luke. The fleece worked too well and saved Thalia from being a tree. She later joined the Hunters to escape being the person in the Great Prophecy.
