Hestia is the goddess of the hearth. When Dionysus was appointed a god, Hestia left the council for him to take her place which made the council uneven (5 female to 7 male). Hestia is known as the oldest and youngest of Kronos and Rhea's children because she was born first, but when she and her siblings were "Thrown Up" by her father, she was the last one out.
